This iconic event heralds the start of Festive Season here in South Australia and on Saturday November 12, the streets of Adelaide were abuzz with Christmas magic and community spirit.
King Nathan and Princess Jess gave many kids a big royal wave and loved spreading Christmas cheer through the Women's & Children's Hospital after making sure Father Christmas was safely escorted into the Magic Cave.
There were also plenty of big smiles and waves coming from our staff, family and friends on these floats:

To help "Celebrate the Clown Within" this pageant day, we attempted the Guinness World Record for the "Largest Gathering of People Wearing Red Noses"!
Our CEO, Costa, does some clowning around!
Pictured left, Police Credit Union CEO, Costa Anatasiou, had a lesson in clowning around this week in preparation for his clown debut in this year's pageant!
Even our much loved Fiat Bambino had a starring role!
Look out for Costa amongst the sea of 250 clowns on Saturday 12 November!

Royalty Roadtrippin'!
King Nathan has had a full royal schedule since his crowning, with the Royal coach making stops in the North, Barossa, Riverland, Adelaide Hills and right across metropolitan Adelaide.
Princess Jess has also had the chance to join in the fun of school and hospital visits around Adelaide and in the South East - teaching kids about the pageant and how to give a big Royal wave!
Both King Nathan and Princess have loved meeting some of the pageant's smallest, yet biggest fans as they got the opportunity to sprinkle a little Christmas magic into the lives of kids right across South Australia.

Prince Nathan has been crowned King!
We are very proud to introduce the 2011 Credit Union Christmas Pageant King Nathan!
21-year old Nathan has been a long-time Christmas Pageant Clown and was shocked to hear his name called!
He's overjoyed at the appointment, but that doesn't mean he plans to get too serious about the top job!
King Nathan is looking forward to bringing his clown training into the role to help spread the humour and magic of the Credit Union Christmas Pageant.
Pictured here with his proud parents, King Nathan also wants to be a role model to young males.

Here was the first glimpse at the Credit Union Christmas Pageant Royal Family on Channel 10 the other night, with Prince Nathan looking dapper and Princess Jess strutting her stuff!

Princess Jess is a self-confessed big kid with a big smile and even bigger heart.
She can't wait to get out into the community and sprinkle a little bit of Pageant magic into the lives of South Aussie kids everywhere.
Jess has been a big believer and faithful follower of Father Christmas all of her life, so she thinks there's no-one more qualified to take on the role of Pageant Queen and escort him into the Magic Cave this Pageant day!

Prince Nathan has been lucky enough to have been involved in the Pageant for almost a decade.
He's had a great time being an alien, toy soldier and doing plenty of clowning around, and would love to take on the top job as Pageant King this year and spread plenty of Christmas cheer across SA.
He hopes to see you at this year's Credit Union Christmas Pageant on November 12 and promises to give you the biggest wave you've ever seen!

We're excited to announce the launch of a brand new app that features all of the must-have info about the Credit Union Christmas Pageant!
This includes the route map and program of floats, a range of pageant facts and tips, the best viewing spots behind the blue honour line, the fascinating history of this beloved even and plenty more fun things.
You can even send your own special Christmas message direct to the North Pole!
It also gives you all the info you need on taking part in this year's Guinness World Record attempt.
