Activate Your Cards

Get more secure...

#BetterBanking means that we do what we can to make your banking experience safe and secure.

We have introduced a process that will mean Members need to activate a new, replacement or renewal Police Credit Union card before use.

You can activate your card in several ways, including:

  • Via our Banking App
  • Via Internet Banking
  • Via IVY Phone Banking
  • Calling the Contact Centre or coming into a branch

You can follow these easy instructions to make sure that your banking experience with us is smooth, safe and seamless:

Banking App

  1. On your main home screen, select Cards
  2. Enter your PIN or use touch identification
  3. Enter expiry date of the card you wish to activate
  4. Card will change from coloured to grey once activated
  5. Text message will be sent confirming card activation
  6. Your card is now activated

Internet Banking

  1. Log-in to your Internet banking account by heading to the top right hand corner of your screen and clicking onto Online Banking
  2. Enter in your Member number and access password
  3. Go to the My Preferences menu (please note that this option only appears when you have an inactive card in our banking system)
  4. Select Card Activation
  5. Enter the card number and expiry date of the card you wish to activate
  6. A successful activation will result in a message “Card will be activated shortly”
  7. Click OK
  8. Your card is now activated

IVY Phone Banking

  1. Call IVY on 1300 247 489
  2. Enter in your Member number and access code
  3. Select Option 5 to get to the Activation Menu
  4. Follow the prompts and enter the card number and expiry date of the card you wish to activate as prompted
  5. Your card is now activated
