Canoe for Kids

In 2015 we ran the fundraising initiative, ‘Canoe for Kids’ for the second year in a row after achieving great popularity in 2014. The concept for Canoe for Kids was developed by our very own Personal Banker, Glenn Lewis, who designed the event to increase awareness and raise funds for the Blue Light Police Link program. On 30 and 31 October 2015, twelve intrepid Police Credit Union staff, Blue Light program members and South Australian Police, canoed 42km from Purnong to Mannum, on the River Murray, to raise money for Police Link.

Canoe for Kids was a huge success and we were able to present the Police Link program with a cheque for $7,000. This year, we look forward to running Canoe for Kids again with the aim of making it even bigger and better. Check out some of the photos from the event below.
