We are aware of a Latitude Financial Services data breach affecting their customers. Please note, we have had NO incidents of breaches to our data and we ARE NOT associated with the provider in question. Their data breach DOES NOT include any Police Credit Union banking details and NONE of our accounts are compromised.
We would recommend closely monitoring your accounts using Online Banking or using our Banking App – ensuring that you take extra care when accessing your accounts and consider changing your passwords for added security.
As always, our Guardian Fraud Protection Service is active. This service is a comprehensive suite of services aimed at keeping your transactions safe and secure, including identifying high risk transactions.
Please continue being alert to any emails, text messages or phone calls from people requesting personal or account information, including access to devices. DO NOT respond to any requests until you have made your own enquiries with the organisation they claim to be from. For any queries or to report any suspicious transaction activity, call any companies directly on their publicly listed phone numbers.
In addition, Latitude Financial Services has developed a specific response plan and is providing personal support throughout the process. More information can be found here.
If you have any queries about your account, please consider sending us a Secure Message via the Inbox in Online Banking or the Banking App, we can safely respond to your query quickly during business hours.
