Police Credit Union's Canoe For Kids Is Back!

Following the success of Police Credit Union’s Canoe for Kids in 2014 and 2015, it is back, bigger and better than ever for 2017!!
Created by our very own Personal Banker, Glenn Lewis, the fun and challenging initiative is designed to raise funds for the Blue Light Police Link Program.
The Blue Light Police Link Program does an amazing job of teaching children in hospitals important community safety messages while creating distractions from their illness and helping to break down barriers between police, children and the community.
As part of Police Credit Union’s commitment to playing an active role in the community, it encourages a number of staff members to get involved as paddlers, support crew, volunteers and photographers.
Kicking off on the morning of Friday 21 April, 2017 from Purnong on the beautiful River Murray, the 36km two day paddle will see participants stop over at a reserved campsite in Young Husband before continuing on to finish the paddle in Mannum on the morning of Saturday 22 April, 2017.
To celebrate the end of the paddle, we will be having a little BBQ at Mary-Anne Reserve in Mannum. Welcome the paddlers as they get to the finish line of their journey and enjoy a sausage or two!
