Better, safer transactions with Visa cards

Here are some basic but essential steps you can take that will help make your Visa card’s protection even better.

While you have Guardian Fraud Protection Service monitoring for suspicious transactions across your accounts 24/7, there are some things that you can do to minimise your risk and have an enjoyable online shopping experience.

Be careful shopping online. Google businesses and check customer feedback on small retail sites.

If a deal looks too good to be true… maybe it is. Do your research.

Giving your CVV number is OK. During a transaction you can give the 3 digits on the back of the card.

A Verified by Visa popup has appeared when you’re transacting online? It’s OK to provide requested details.

Advise Police Credit Union when you are travelling overseas – always!
