GO SiXTY PLUS Home Equity Release is your choice between two types of home loans:
Standard Mortgage – you repay the principal and interest over a maximum term of 30 years. Fixed and variable interest rates (or a mix of the two) are offered on this loan.
Reverse Mortgage* – repayment of principal and interest is not required until your property is sold. The loan amount is determined by your age and the value of your property. Only variable interest rates are offered on this loan. We recommend you consult family members before making a decision about this type of loan, because you are drawing down against the value of your home. Family like to know about these things! Independent legal advice on the loan agreement is required, as it is important that you are completely happy with all aspects of this loan. *This loan is financed through Heartland Seniors Finance.3
GO SiXTY PLUS Bridge to Retirement4 gives you the time that you need to make your next move. It provides you with funds to pay the ‘licence to occupy’ in advance and then allows you up to 12 months to sell your home, at which time the loan is repaid. Now you can plan your move without the pressure of time and money. This option frees up your main asset so you can prepare properly and without stress – it is the bridge to your next stage of life.
Basically, it is a variable rate loan available to anyone who owns their home outright (or has substantial equity in their home).

GO SiXTY PLUS Lifestyle Personal Loan5 is a unique product based on the equity (and financial arrangement) you have with the Management of your community. It allows you to draw down from a lump sum, either in small, regular amounts (as an income supplement) or in larger chunks for bigger purchases (like a new car or a big holiday). Or you can do both.
The lump sum amount is calculated against the investment you have in your lifestyle village. This kind of loan is exclusive to Police Credit Union and has a number of excellent benefits:
- Use the money for any worthwhile purpose
- Lump sum or partial draw downs
- Cash reserve facility for future access
- Very competitive fixed interest rate
- No monthly account keeping fees
- No early termination fees
And we also offer:
Bill Paying Service6 – we pay bills on your behalf from your nominated account. It takes the hassle out paying them yourself, and we never forget to pay them on time – we can even pay them when you’re on holiday. Each month you will receive a statement of paid bills. You can add or remove billers whenever you like.
Information Seminars7 – we hold regular seminars on retirement planning, financial planning and other retirement related topics. They are inclusive, targeted and very popular with all involved.
All these options, plus a dedicated advisor to work with you and for you… to give you better options for a better life.
It’s what we mean by Better Banking.
