Introduction of mandatory temperature checks at all Police Credit Union branches
18 March 2020
Police Credit Union continues to do all it can to minimise the risk of COVID-19 infection for staff and customers.
That is why effective immediately, we ask that if you attend any one of our branch locations that you agree to a non-intrusive temperature check before entering.
This is a straightforward, short process that involves a staff member scanning your forehead with a remote thermometer. If that check indicates that you have a temperature at or above 37.6 degrees celsius, you will not be allowed to enter the branch.
This will reduce the risk of exposure to our staff and customers inside the branch at that time and complement enhanced cleaning protocols in our branches and other pandemic safety measures already in place.
If you are not prepared to participate in a temperature check, then you are encouraged to use Online Banking at www.policecu.com.au, our Banking App, IVY Phone Banking or call our Contact Centre on 1300 131 844 during business hours.
If you feel unwell, please do not enter a branch until you have seen a doctor and have been found to be in good health.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
